Finance Manager role in North Bristol paying £38k-£40k
Your new company
You will be working for a Public Sector organisation based in their North Bristol office - easily commutable from Bristol, M4 or M5 with parking on site. Due to an internal restructure they are currently recruiting for a Finance Manager to head up the small finance team
Your new role
You will be responsible for all operational finance matters including the preparation of consolidated management accounts, preparing appropriate commentary and forecasts, and preparing management accounts for 2 companies plus overseeing the preparation of accounts for external organisations. You will produce the year end Group statutory accounts, give oversight of annual budgets, quarterly returns to funders and cash flow forecasts. You will provide effective management to the finance team, taking responsibility for the delivery of the teams service standards, KPIs and deadlines.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a wealth of Management Accounting experience and have previously managed a team. You will also have previous Public Sector experience. You will be a part-qualified/newly qualified Accountant ACCA/CIMA. You must be highly organised, able to work under pressure and have good system skills (including Excel to V-Look ups/Pivot Tables).
