Financial Controller job in London, responsible for running a division of this International Real Estate Company.

The International Real Estate Business is a market leader operating a number of different product lines. With a diversified portfolio of property types from residential, retail and commercial and presence across the Globe, their footprint and market share continues to grow into one of the leading firms in the sector. This specialist professional services business unit that you will be responsible for turns over roughly £150m a year.

Your new role
Leading the business unit you will be number 2 in finance and report into the Finance Director, you'll work right across the business with both financial and technically focused professionals. You'll be supported by a wider finance team of around 15 and have the opportunity to manage client relationships alongside producing useful management information. You'll be tasked with developing the FP&A function to deliver long term plans. A very broad controller role, you will also manage a small team and have to build an internal professional network of largely non finance professionals.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have a sound technical understanding from completing your ACA or ACCA accounting qualification. With the ability to influence, challenge assumptions and share knowledge a key to this position's success, your communication skills will be excellent and you will be able to demonstrate a robust and confident character during previous commercial positions. Client development, budgeting and forecasting alongside pricing and other metrics will feature heavily in your skill set, and ideally will knowledge of the Real Estate/Professional Services industry.
