Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant job based in Oxford city centre paying £18,000 per annum.

Your new company

Your new company is a well established organisation affiliated with The University of Oxford. They are looking for a junior candidate to join their central finance team as an Accounts Assistant.

Your new role

In your new role you will be working as part of a high volume team and be responsible for UK Staff Expense claims in line with policies and procedures and posting journal entries into the Finance system. You will also be assisting the Financial Accounts team to prepare accounts packages.

What you'll need to succeed

In order to succeed you will be studying towards an AAT qualification or equivalent and have a passion for accounting. You wil be highly motivated and willing to learn. Experience of working in a Finance team, knowledge of SAP and a good understanding of MS Excel would be advantageous.

This is a permanent, full time position offering a salary of £18,000 per annum plus a a generous benefits package.
