Management Reporting Accountant £22,000 - £30,000 per annum + Benefits & Study support

I am currently recruiting for an assistant reporting accountant for an industry leading retailer based in the Coventry area.


Our client is looking for a driven and passionate individual that is looking to get stuck into their qualifications whilst build a fantastic career for themselves with a well known brand.


This role will include:


Preparation of monthly management accounts including variance analysis on key P&L accounts.


Providing quarterly and monthly forecasting, ensuring the business is performing.


Analysing store costs on a monthly basis ensuring the financial information is being reported accurately.


Monitoring all overhead and looking at ways to streamline and save money.


Identifying ways to reduce journal count to produce monthly accounts.


Business partnering with a variety of different stakeholders within other departments.


The ideal candidate will have:


Degree from University Desirable


Currently studying ACCA/ACA/CIMA


Core Finance skills


Experience working within the retail or FMCG sector Desirable
