A leading retail company based in Central London is looking for a qualified accountant to undertake a 4 month management accountant role. The role will ensure all management accounts are processed and reconciled within the required time frames. A strong candidate with have retail experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring the timely and accurate production of monthly management accounts
- Develop processes and systems to ensure all balance sheet account balances are reconciled and P&L charges
- Produce the statutory accounts Fixed Assets
- Actively take responsibility for ensuring the required internal controls are in place
- Preparation of VAT returns
Candidate Requirements:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
- A minimum of 12months post qualification experience
- Intermediate/Advanced Excel skills
- Strong organisational skills
- Active approach to solving problems
