Audit Manager

An exciting opportunity has become available to join a dynamic and rapidly expanding accountancy firm in Sheffield as an Audit Manager.

Reporting to a Senior Manager, Director or Partner, you will oversee a portfolio of clients - managing a team (on and off site), attending client meetings, reviewing and allocating work.

Working from modern offices the firm looks at providing a full range of accounting, auditing and tax services to a broad range of clients from all industry sectors, ranging from up and coming SMEs to large limited companies and even listed PLCs. The majority of the work will be in overseeing audit work and consulting with clients - helping their businesses achieve growth and reduce costs - but there will also be some ad-hoc project work. Travel to client sites will be required, though over-night stays are kept to a minimum.

A proactive and organised person with good communication skills, you will lead by example and enjoy working closely with clients. You will be a qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CA) with extensive experience of external audit work gained within an accountancy practice including larger, more complicated audits under both UK GAAP and IFRS. Ideally you will also have lead large audits in the field, including attending completion meetings and presenting to clients.
