Management Accountant

The business focus on commercial law with clients in both the UK and internationally.

They are looking for a Management Accountant to join their Finance team working closely with the Financial Controller and focusing on monthly reporting and controls.

Responsibilities will include;

P&L variance analysis vs. budget and prior year

Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations

Business partnering with cost centre owners to ensure there is a strong understanding of cost management

Assisting in the completion of the forecasting model

Take a key role in the redesign of the month end reporting process

Make innovative and proactive recommendations to improve finance and system processes

Production of the annual statutory accounts ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards

Ad hoc / proactive analysis to support the rest of the wider team

You must be a Qualified Accountant with experience in producing management accounts in a previous role.

You must also be a confident communicator, able to partner effectively with senior stakeholders outside of Finance.
