Credit Control/Accounts Assistant

Manufacturing business based in the Sale area requires a Credit Controller. 

Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a sole Credit Control role.

You will be responsible for the collection of debt on a business to business level. You will be dealing with a a large number of live accounts with a mixed value. You will be responsible for building relationships with clients. Other duties will include dealing with queries internally and externally, reporting on debtor days and general credit control daily issues, cash allocation, sales ledger duties, bank reconciliations and processing credit card payments.

There will also be the opportunity to carry out some more general accounting duties in support of the finance team to make the role more varied.

The right candidate for this role will be a self starter, motivated and be looking for a role that could become a real opportunity. You will need at least 3 years Credit Control experience as well as experience of bank reconciliations and some study towards AAT is desirable but not essential.
