Axon Moore are recruiting a Group Financial Accountant position with an exciting business in York. The organisation has operations in several different countries with their Group results being consolidated in York.
You’ll work with colleagues locally and internationally and hold responsibility for the overall financial reporting and cash management across the group. Furthermore, you’ll support the Finance Director with strategic accounting, planning objectives and cost management.
Key duties:
The role will pay £50-55,000 plus benefits.
You’ll work with colleagues locally and internationally and hold responsibility for the overall financial reporting and cash management across the group. Furthermore, you’ll support the Finance Director with strategic accounting, planning objectives and cost management.
Key duties:
- Timely and accurate monthly reporting to board level
- Management of the month-end close and group-wide reporting process
- Cash-flow management with regular reporting to board and maintenance of models
- Assisting the planning teams in providing value adding analysis and commercial insight
- Continual improvement of financial processes and controls
- Consolidated reporting and analysis of group results
- Reconciliation of inter-company accounts and close liaison with transactional finance
- Management of the year end process and the audit relationship
- Management of VAT return
- Management of group working capital and treasury management including external financing
- Fully qualified Accountant, likely ACA / ACCA with practice background
- Preferably experience of working within a multinational group setting
- Strong financial accounting experience
- Strong cash-management experience
- Flexible and adaptable with a keen eye for spotting and delivering improvements
- Collaborative and agile with a pro-active nature
The role will pay £50-55,000 plus benefits.
