Finance Analyst

6 month temporary contract based in Reading

You will be working for an award winning FTSE 100 household brand based in Reading

Your new role
You will be responsible for revenue assurance, and will be analysing variances in customer bill rates as per the tariff that they have purchased, along with preparing, reviewing and distributing reports and reconciling large sets of financial data. You will also be reviewing and analysing costs, while liaising with wholesale partners when invoice discrepancies are identified and challenging current processes in order to deliver the best resolution for the company. You will also be responsible for budgeting and forecasting, and providing monthly updates on total revenues and costs.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be required to work with large sets of data, meaning that excellent Excel skills are essential (Macros ideal, vlookups and pivot tables are essential). You will be part qualified (ACCA or CIMA), and have several years' experience in analysing financial variances, budgeting, forecasting and compiling reports from large sets of data. You will be immediately available to the market and able to start at short notice.
