Management Accountant

Leading national leisure business are looking for a Management Accountant to join their London HQ due to continued growth. Key to the role is to support planning, financial control and commercial decision-making by providing appropriate financial information and analysis. With an overall goal of driving efficiency & value for money throughout the organisation.

The Role –

• Development, implementation & delivery of management reporting to Board, including but not limited to weekly KPI’s, monthly Board Pack, monthly Centre P&Ls
• Provide advice to budget holders and function heads relating to financial matters in their area or responsibility
• Complete monthly balance sheet account reconciliations
• Assist in production of budget and forecast for the business
• Support working capital and CAPEX/investment management
• Recommend improvements to financial and accounting systems, controls and processes
• Evaluate the company’s performance using financial data and identify opportunities for business improvement
• Assist external audit process, provide accompanying schedules and working papers
• Develop effective decision support for Management in relation to investment and all other commercial matters and post-implementation evaluation.

The Person –

• Educated to degree level preferable
• Qualified (preferably CIMA, ACA or ACCA).
• At least 5 years’ experience as management / financial accountant or similar role.
• 5 years in consumer-facing organisation e.g. leisure hospitality retail.
