Forensic Accountant

Forensic Accountant - Hotels. Our Client are renowned investment company within real estate and own a variety of assets including development and management. As the company are growing, they have instructed us to recruit a Forensic Accountant to be part of their hotel team.

The Role of the successful candidate will be involved in forensic investigation projects whilst working for a variety of well-known hotel brands and therefore will assume the following responsibilities:

• Incorporating the review and assessment of evidence, controls and/or risks.
• Drafting of written reports and liaising with clients.
• Understanding and managing the risks and financials associated with the assets.
• Handling fraud, financial and misconduct investigations.
• Responsible for the regulatory compliance.
• Being responsible for the fraud Risk Management.

The Person: They MUST have previous forensic experience as well as being in manager level and should ideally be a qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA or similar). The person should have an articulate understanding of accounting, fraud, audits and investigations. The candidate must also demonstrate skills in analytical and problem solving with an ability to work accurately under a pressured environment. Experience of working within the hotels/leisure sector is highly desirable.
