Our client, a dynamic and highly sought after employer of choice, with a fantastic reputation for professional development, is looking to source an ambitious and commercially astute Procurement Finance Analyst to join its talented team.
This is a newly created role to support the brand's growth and continue to deliver a strong business partnering culture. You will be part of a team of 4, partnering with Procurement, Finance and Efficiency programmes to track, report, budget and analyse Procurement savings in all areas.
Main duties include:
* Leading all key reporting including monthly savings report, procurement dashboard and KPIs, transformation reporting pack and category reporting
* Business partner with procurement buying teams, working with category heads to deep-dive into savings and add insight and challenge
* Produce business analysis to highly and challenge when required, initiatives not being delivered and spot opportunities for improvement
* Financial modelling and scenario analysis to help identify potential synergy opportunities
* Designing and developing the correct KPIs and metrics
* Support the budgeting and forecasting process with the Procurement Director and senior team
The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a stellar academic record, preferably with a degree from a highly regarded University. You will have a well-rounded skill set and have excellent systems and reporting skills in particular. Aside from technical capabilities, analytical rigour is key, with a structured approach to business analysis, providing key insight into the drivers of profit.
You must consider yourself to be a confident, credible and effective communicator, capable of building sustainable relationships with non-finance stakeholders. You will also demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for maximising business performance and utilise an inquisitive and challenging nature in order to identify key drivers and savings. A clear strategic grasp in also crucial, ideally with experience in a role where finance acts as a key partner in driving business success.
