Robertson Bell Finance are working with a highly influential International Charity who are looking for an ambitious and highly skilled Donor Finance Officer to join their successful Donor Finance team in Central London. Key responsibilities include:

*Supporting Finance Business Partners and Project Accountants in the creation of donor funded project proposals
*Assisting the wider finance team with developing budgets and ensuring full compliance with DFID grant/donor regulations
*Guaranteeing that all Donor reports are submitted in a timely manner and reconciling this financial information
*Setting up new projects onto the general ledger and ensuring accurate cash flow forecasting and financial analysis of all project reports
*Support the year end audit process; reconciling deferred income and control accounts
*Liaising with external partners, budget holders and the wider finance team to provide a comprehensive business partnering service
*Ensure invoices are submitted to donors in a timely manner and reviewed for accuracy for the statutory financial statements

If you are a part qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with experience in project accounting and reporting within a Charity or commercial environment, then this is the perfect role for you. It is essential that you have experience of multi-currency accounting and can build strong professional relationships at all levels. Experience of international finance would be advantageous for this role to understand the challenges of the International Charity sector; this charity currently deals with a number of high profile institutional donors and is a key player in the International Development sector. The ability to speak French or Spanish is also desirable for this role as this is a common language for many of the external partners.
