Project Accountant

The Role:

This role will form part of a new small team to work on a project around IFRS16 legislative changes. Working with one of the Big Four you will be required to look at detail around leasing agreements and pull out relevant pieces of information for the auditors. Day to day activities will include looking a lease documents, resolving queries and input into required templates. Key skills in data gathering required

Requirements:

• Part qualified accountants who have ideally worked in practice previously
• Financial accounting (as opposed to commercial accounting)
• Data driven background ie audit etc relevant / data entry
• Strong persistent attitude able to drive queries through and chase properties for details required or escalate to Finance Manager
• Thick skin, able to deal with push back and ambiguity particularly in the early stages
• Very good attention to detail
• Data gathering
• Proactive approach
• There is a process in place but someone who is able to deal with some ambiguity is also required
