Financial Controller

The Financial Controller is responsible for providing robust cash management and accurate financial reports, advice and analysis in line with recognised accounting standards. Your responsibilities will include the management and development of the operational finance team.

Description

Role specific and technical duties/ responsibilities for Financial Controller will include:

• Cash Management and forecasting
• Financial Reporting
• Team Leadership and Management
• Deliver a financially controlled environment across the business
• Financial reporting standards

Through effective management and deployment of the Finance Team:

• Effective cash management
• Effective operation and control of key financial ledgers
• Collation of month end financial accounts
• provide effective financial control, manage and deliver clean audits
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Statutory Accounts and tax returns to accounting standards

Profile

ACCA (or equivalent) qualified accountant with a strong technical financial background

Up to date knowledge of accounting practice

Strong experience of managing cash

Advanced skills of excel and financial operating systems

Strong communication skills

Strong management and leadership skills, able to inspire and lead teams to successfully deliver goals

Role model the behaviours and culture of business environment
