This organisation has created a brand new job opportunity for a Deputy Head of Payroll. They are a well known organisation in the centre of Birmingham who continually innovate and develop their service. Additionally they work hard to retain their local focus in the diverse communities, customer service is therefore a priority.

In this role you would be overseeing the processing payroll data for 5,000 employees monthly whilst supervising three members of staff. Other day to day responsibilities would also include the likes of reconciling and checking work, ensuring accuracy and quality control levels are adhered to, and also being the main point of contact between HR, Finance and payroll.

In order to succeed in this role it is important to be able to manage your own workload at the same time as guiding and developing the team members. The organisation are looking for someone who is proactive, organised and self-motivated. It would also be desirable for you to have great communication skills in order to effectively liaise between the different departments as well as deliver excellent customer service.
