Marks Sattin are working exclusively with a men's luxury retailer based in central London to recruit an experienced Finance Manager to join their busy finance division.
You will be based in the UK finance team, but focusing on the month-to-month activity in the USA as it expands its product line into one of the biggest department stores in America. You will be responsible for a range of accounting duties for the UK and US entities of the business, and help to improve operational reporting across the organisation.
Responsibilities will include
- Monthly bank reconciliations
- Accounts receivable including raising US invoices
- Credit control and reconciling accounts
- Posting monthly revenue and sales journals
- Handle monthly submissions relating to US revenue tax, pricing, stock accounting and more.
Additionally you will provide cover for the management accountant and be able to process accounts fully through to trial balance including posting of prepayments, accruals and fixed assets.
Candidates ideally will have experience and working knowledge of US book-keeping along with strong analytical and Excel skills.
This role will suit someone who is AAT qualified or studying towards a qualification such as ACCA/CIMA.
