Rates Product Controller

Our client, a leading investment manager, currently seeks a Rates Product Controller, to be based in London.

The Rates Product Controller will be responsible for:
- Production of the daily P&L process, including explanation of P&L by driver (morning)
- Production and/or review of weekly fund return estimates and attribution
- Full month-end close process
- Adherence to valuation source hierarchy and overall valuation policy
- Documentation of non-standard valuation sources
- Assisting administrator in receiving independent confirmation of external valuations
- Reconciliation of estimate balance sheet / p&l to final balance sheet / p&l

As such, the successful Rates Product Controller will have the following skills and experience:
- Big 4 qualified with first time passes and relevant post-qualified experience gained within an investment bank or asset manager (ideally within rates)
- Valuations experience is beneficial
- Strong academics and advanced Excel skills are essential
