The role supports the Distribution leadership team, providing analytics and insight to support key change initiatives, including changes that are industry leading and as such have a high profile across IAG. The finance team provide support to understand the costs and value generated across distribution channels as well as financial support for complex negotiations with key suppliers.

Key Responsibilities include:

 Working with FBPs/SFBPs to understand Commercial cost and drivers

 Developing dashboards/packs for leadership teams to effectively communicate financial performance

 Influencing the business to drive optimal decisions which maximise return from the cost base

 Developing plans with the line area consistent with the Commercial strategy of the business and owning the financial strategy

 Providing input and analysis to ensure all business decisions relating to selling channels are taken with consideration of the financial impact; challenging decisions where required and finding alternative solutions

 Supporting the leadership teams to manage risks and opportunities

 Producing and reviewing business cases relating to manpower and capital to ensure they achieve financial and related productivity targets

 Managing the CRRAC process and working with joint business partners to deliver cost and revenue synergies

 Collaborating with GBS resources to ensure deliverables are achieved in a timely manner

 Driving annual Finance Plan and Business Plans for the business units and ensuring buy-in from the line area

 Month-end activities relating to updating Financial Plan with latest forecasts and reporting of spend against the Financial Plan

 Understanding of all aspects of project work including business case development, project tracking and post project appraisal
