Financial Accountant

SF Group are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant for a successful international business in North Nottinghamshire, This business is fast growing both through acquisitions and organic growth. The business prides itself on progression and development of staff.

As the Financial Accountant you will be joining a high performing team.

Key responsibilities:

• Overseeing externally managed companies
• Production of monthly management account
• Production budget/forecast
• Production of the statutory accounts
• Liaison with auditors
• Overseeing the preparation of VAT returns
• Oversee Intercompany charges, allocations and reconciliations
• Tax workings/preparation review
• Supporting the finance function in general in many ad hoc tasks throughout the department

You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) ideally looking to make first move from practice, or industry with a proven record in financial/management accounts within a fast-paced, team environment. You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with both internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and highly motivated and able to meet deadlines.
