ACA/ACCA ACCOUNTANT - PRACTISING CERTIFICATE ESSENTIAL - EXTERNAL ACCOUNTING FOR TECH START UPS - £50000 PA
Your new company
Your new firm was founded in the early 2000's in London by an entrepreneur to support investors and management in rapid growth, entrepreneurial and fast changing small businesses.
Your new role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA/ACCA qualified accountant and your main responsibility will be the preparation of year-end company accounts and corporation tax returns for a portfolio of 50 clients which are mainly start up companies in the technology industry with turnovers up to around £3million. You will also be able to prepare personal tax returns for individuals in addition to overseeing bookkeeping and VAT returns prepared by a trainee whilst overseeing the development of that trainee. You will also have the ability to advise clients with complex systems/business activities how to implement new systems in order to increase efficiency and profitability
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a trained and qualified chartered accountant with previous experience in external accounting for a range of clients in a practice environment. You must have a current practising certificate as you will be signing off on the accounts work. You will have had previous experience of supervising and mentoring junior colleagues, will be organised and proactive in your work.
