Account Payable Assistant - Residential Property Management. Our Client is established property management company who have almost tripled in size over the last few years. They current manage a significant residential property portfolio consisting for new build developments and existing blocks. They are on the search now for a passionate Accounts Payable Assistant to join their prestigious property accounting team.

The Role, reporting to the Head of Property Accounts, will require the applicant to fulfil the following duties:

  • Processing invoices and checking for discrepancies.
  • Scanning and electronic filing of entered invoices.
  • Completing the weekly payment run and ensuring all necessary paperwork and evidence is in place.
  • Answering all supplier queries.
  • Ensuring that all suppliers receive remittances advice for payments and that contractor details system are updated.
  • Undertaking monthly supplier reconciliations.
  • Performing intercompany payment reconciliations.

 

The Person: To apply will have at least a couple of years accounts payable/purchase ledger experience gained from another property management firm. The applicant must have a keen eye for detail and be capable of dealing with large volumes of invoices. The incumbent will be adaptable and have strong communication experience as this busy role will require high level of interaction with property managers and suppliers. The successful person will be a commercial and driven candidate who thrives in a busy environment. This is a good opportunity to work for a firm who is dealing with some of London's largest developments.
