£45k Full Time Equivalent, plus benefits

The client is a successful, profitable and growing entrepreneurial business operating in the Hospitality and Retail sector, from a number of locations. They have a strong Brand, a variety of products, strong financial backing, and are expanding their footprint and commercial activities, both locally in the North West, and across the UK.

Reporting to the Directors this is a hands-on role, responsible for the financial management and accountancy functions of the Company. This will include management accounts, and cash management, but importantly, providing the Board with the MI required to grow and manage the business.

Responsibilities include:

• Budgeting and forecasting, including margin and profit management.
• Financial analysis and insight, understanding trading activities.
• Daily, weekly and monthly reporting of MI to the Board.
• Sales Ledger; timely and accurate invoicing, and maximising cash collections
• Purchase Ledger, including managing supplier payment terms
• Cash management, forecasting and reporting, both daily and weekly
• Banking including receipts, payments and reconciliations
• Payroll; including weekly, and monthly, all Annual Returns, for some 30 staff.
• Book-keeping and record keeping
• Preparation of VAT Returns, and liaising with HMRC
• Work with the Auditors and Advisors
• Any ad hoc projects as and when required

This role will suit a qualified CIMA, ACCA seeking part-time and flexible arrangements, and in this regard the client is happy to negotiate hours or a Full Time AAT. The Company is growing and so the role has the scope to expand in responsibilities and hours if the individual wishes. This is a very hands-on role, and an exciting opportunity to add value to the running of a dynamic and fast growing business.
