Accountant - Mansfield

Are you a part-qualified Accountant looking for the next step in your career?

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting a part-qualified Accountant for a well known PLC with a head office in Mansfield.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will provide support at the hub of the business as it continues to grow organically and through acquisition. You will play a key role in both the production of the monthly management accounts and statutory accounts.

Your main responsibilities will include:
- Accruals and prepayments
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Production of monthly management accounts
- Preparation of VAT returns
- Oversee Intercompany charges, allocations and reconciliations
- Production of the statutory accounts
- Liaison with auditors
- Tax workings/preparation
- Supporting the finance function in general in many ad hoc tasks throughout the department.

Essential Skills / Experience:
- A Part Qualified/Newly Qualified Accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA
- Experience in a similar role
- A proven record in financial/management accountant role
- The ability to effectively communicate with both internal and external stakeholders
- Strong Excel skills
