Group Finance Director

Your new company

You will be working with two companies, sitting as part of the same Group structure - as their Group Finance Director. These business are relatively small now but with some seriously impressive growth plans moving forwards which could see their turnover double in 2/3 years with some new site openings.

One of the business operates their own managed restaurants, whilst the other will be a single site with a very large space which will house several smaller eateries, each with their own distinct menu style.


Your new role

In your new role, you will taking charge of the finance teams for businesses - as the Group Finance Director, and reporting into the two Managing Directors as well as the board. You will manage around 3 people at the start, with the view to growing the finance team, in your own image, to around 6/7 heads across both businesses in the next few years.

You will be working closely with the MDs of the business to advise on the strategic direction of the business, and taking a real hold of this side of the business. You will be involved in the production of both the management and statutory accounts.

Further, you will need to work closely with the GMs of the individual sites to ensure that sound cost control measures are in place across the business to ensure that profits remain as high as possible.


What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be a fully Qualified accountant, with around 5-10 years PQE, working in the Leisure & Hospitality space. Ideally, this experience will be more with the Restaurants & Hotels in Central London, which will have given you a sound working knowledge of the niche way in which this industry operates.
