Successful and growing accountancy firm, based in Devon.

Your new role
Working alongside the senior management team, reporting to a Partner of the company.

Varied duties to include :

• Bookkeeping (on Sage50 Professional)
• VAT Returns
• Client payments and ledger administration
• Overseeing Credit control and credit checking (with the assistance of a sub-contractor who does this for us)
• Supplier invoices, payments and ledger administration
• Client standing orders, direct debits and recurring invoices (Renewals, processing and administration)
• Client disbursement control
• Management accounts
• Cash flows and projections
• Monthly billing projected and actuals. Setting targets, managing staff KPI's.
• Manage Payroll and staff benefits
• Human resources (Holiday management, Contracts, Hand Books, Memo's etc) with third party solicitor assistance
• Flexi time system administration
• Website updating and maintenance
• Office management for 2 offices
• Assisting with Recruitment, liaising with agencies, advertising etc
• Assist with Practice Development Projects

What you'll need to succeed

Experience gained in a Finance Manager capacity (ideally in professional services, however this does not need to have been within an accountancy practice)
Ability to manager a busy office
Be well organised
