The Manchester offices of BTG Recruitment are supporting one a High Street retailed in a search & selection process for a newly created role of Financial Planning & Analysis Team.
The role is a true Financial Planning & Analysis Manager's position, which will manage reporting across the business units, ensuring that finance is a cross silo function.
The Role
The role of Financial Planning & Analysis Manager has been created following a board level reengagement of finance and their focus on adding value across each of their divisional teams. The emphasis on commercially viable strategic reporting and modelling has been highlighted as a business critical driver.
In this key role you will build and develop the relationship between the Divisional Finance Team and the operational Business Unit, supporting the Business Unit board in making the best decisions financially which achieve the best commercial and operational results.
You will be coaching and developing a dedicated analyst team, teaching skills, sharing knowledge and best practice and leading by example, you will improve the efficiency of the team's workload and drive forward their performance.
Reports will include:
- Revenues and Trends
- Forecasting across business units annually
- Competitor analysis and Market trends,
- Forecasting, market analysis
- Revenue forecasting across the group
At present, there is a framework of reporting models which the successful Financial Planning & Analysis Manager will hone and improve into an effective business tool
Your Profile
This is a challenging role that is best suited to a talented qualified accountant who has the ability to communicate at a high level, build relationships, develop processes, and understand the necessity of Finance in an internal and external stake-holding facing position.
