Commercial Finance Analyst

Currently working with a client based the Lancashire area that has a need for a commercial finance analyst to join the fast paced environment on an inital 6 month contract.

This role will be assisting the Head of Finance in a number of exciting projects.

Key aspects of the role will include:

• Manage the preparation and consolidation of Month End Results
• Manage the preparation and consolidation of the Forecast; working with the business stakeholders to build up the forecast, challenging assumptions and ensuring the forecast is robust
• Assist the FP&A Manager with the automation of reporting within Excel and also the migration to the group BI system
• Production of Key Management reports
• Support the business leaders on Ad Hoc Analysis and commentary that would assist them in maintaining control of their costs and assisting them in running their business
• Support the Head of FP&A on Ad Hoc business projects

You will be a qualified accountant with strong commercial experience, You will have had prior experience using Excel (ideally up to VBA level). As well as this, you will have some strong FP&A experience with the gravitas and confidence to liaise with senior stakeholders.

The successful candidate must be bright, commercially astute and hungry to succeed in a fast paced, changing environment
