Finance Manager – Leicestershire – £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
A Leicestershire-based business are looking to recruit a Finance Manager to join their offices that are easily commutable from Leicester, Coventry, Hinckley, Nuneaton and Coalville.
The successful finance manager will be working for a high-calibre line manager who has an excellent pedigree in the manufacturing sector. She/he will be operating in a fast-paced and dynamic market sector and will gain exposure to all areas of the business and particularly its leadership figures.
Responsibilities of the finance manager include:
- Production of the monthly management accounts, ensuring that the pack is delivered in a timely and accurate manner in line with business timelines.
- Financial Reporting including leading on the production of Tax Packs and Statutory Accounts.
- Working with senior operational colleagues to present financial information to assist in the business planning process.
- Day to day management of the finance team - performance conversations, mentoring and development.
- Take a lead on finance-based initiatives to improve the performance and efficiency of the business as a whole.
- Treasury activity including hedging and cash flow management and forecasting.
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
The ideal finance manager:
- Must be ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified.
- Have a strong background in management and financial accounts.
- Will have previous line management responsibility.
- Previous experience within the manufacturing sector would be advantageous.
- Will have Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills - pivots, look ups and ifs are essential.
