greenwellgleeson is recruiting for a Management Accountant on a permanent basis for a well known business based in Solihull.



This role is an exciting management accountant's position offering excellent career progression in a growing private equity backed business. You will report to the Group Financial Controller and take responsibilities for the monthly management accounts for multiple entities.



Job Role

*

Production of monthly Management Accounts for multiple entities
*

Monthly balance sheet reconciliations and strong balance sheet control (accruals, prepayments, unbilled/deferred Income)
*

Assist in the control of purchase orders/invoices in line with authorisation levels where required
*

Produce a detailed analysis and reconciliation of actual transactions against expected forecast for inclusion in monthly reporting packs
*

Preparation of monthly reporting for review
*

Close partnering and liaison with business to ensure accurate forecasting and identification of risks and opportunities along with a clear understanding of any variances
*

Providing financial support to non-financial managers and ensuring that the forecast represents the operational and commercial opportunities of the business unit
*

Supporting the annual business planning and external/internal audit process
*

Promoting strong financial control and cost control within the business
*

Support Year End audit process.
*

Become conversant with all tasks within the finance team, to provide cover and training as required.
*

Support FC with analysis and provision of Management Information as required.
*

Pay attention to detail when creating monthly management accounting packs to present at board
*

Producing, reconciling and submitting HMRC VAT returns.
*

Support FC in developing and improving processes and procedures



Additional Requirements

*

Part/Newly Qualified CIMA or ACCA
*

Advanced Level Excel (advantageous)
*

Experience of Sage line 50 (advantageous)
