Our client, a well known & growing business based in Farnborough are looking to add a Finance Manager to their Accountancy team.
Description
Our client is looking for a Finance Manager to join their Accountancy team in Farnborough
- Preparation hoc detailed analysis of monthly P&L's for key accounts including vartimeframe Plan/Forecast
- Provision of information for & attendance at monthly financial reviews with the Operations team
- Maintenance of monthly Balance Sheet control reconciliations
- Preparation of prepayments and accruals
- Prepare a variety of journal entries, including payroll journals
- Liaising with operations team to resolve any queries
- Ad hoc projects/duties assigned by Manager
- Adhere to strict month end timeframe
- Debt monitoring & exception follow up as required
- Complete any contractual changes, openings & closures forms as appropriate
- Monitor overheads to ensure accuracy and appropriateness.
- Coordinate, consolidate, challenge & summarise Annual Business Unit Plan and deliver periodic forecasts where required
- Support the business unit with SOX compliance & checks
- Monitor overheads to ensure accuracy and appropriateness
Profile
A successful candidate will have experience with the above, knowledge of Oracle would be ideal.
The role would suit an AAT Qualified or Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA. Qualified by experience candidates will be considered also.
