With UK turnover of over £200m, and the company steadily expanding, this is an excellent career opportunity for a Senior Internal Auditor to join the finance team. Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit your remit will include:

  • Assisting in the completion of the internal audit cycle of activities across the organisation
  • Ensuring that internal control systems are in place and are complied with.
  • Determining proper audit focus to address business concerns and issues
  • Carrying out specific tests & enquiries on systems & procedures as indicated by the plan for each department / operation / system / under review
  • Maintaining full and accurate working papers for the areas that have been tested
  • Upon completion of each audit, prepare a detailed internal audit report for line management
  • Carrying out follow-up reviews on the implementation of agreed recommendations within internal audit reports
  • Providing proactive, advisory input on audit, procedural, systems and risk-related issues relevant to departments, operations and projects
  • Contributing to, and/or carry out, special projects as required
  • Undertaking professional development to ensure personal skills and knowledge of audit and the business are maintained to a high standard

Applicants will come from an Auditing background and have experience of carrying out a similar role within a complex and fast paced business. You will have a strong commercial acumen with the ability to liaise at all levels and will possess excellent communication skills and a high attention to detail.
