Reporting to the Head of Internal Audit your remit will include:

- Assisting in the completion of the internal audit cycle of activities across the organisation
- Ensuring that internal control systems are in place and are complied with.
- Determining proper audit focus to address business concerns and issues
- Carrying out specific tests & enquiries on systems & procedures as indicated by the plan for each department / operation / system / under review
- Maintaining full and accurate working papers for the areas that have been tested
- Upon completion of each audit, prepare a detailed internal audit report for line management
- Carrying out follow-up reviews on the implementation of agreed recommendations within internal audit reports
- Providing proactive, advisory input on audit, procedural, systems and risk-related issues relevant to departments, operations and projects
- Contributing to, and/or carry out, special projects as required
- Undertaking professional development to ensure personal skills and knowledge of audit and the business are maintained to a high standard
