Assistant Management Accountant

We are now recruiting for a leading manufacturing group based in Gloucester who are looking to extend their finance team by adding an Assistant Management Accountant.

Supporting the Management Accountant you will be responsible for the following:
* Assisting with the production of monthly Management Accounts including: journals, accruals, prepayments, balance sheet reconciliations and overhead analysis
* Weekly bank reconciliations and daily posting of stock journals
* Monthly inter-company account reconciliations
* Monthly VAT returns
* Liaising with internal teams to offer finance support to other areas of the business
* Variance analysis and investigation
* Assist with annual auditing pack preparation

Requirements for this role include:

* AAT qualification desirable
* Experience of using a finance ERP system
* Experience working within manufacturing industry desirable
* Experience with assisting production of monthly Management Accounts
* Ability to work at a detailed level
* Interpersonal skills for direct communication with non finance staff
* Strong technical accounting skills
