Excellent newly created opportunity for a technically strong Financial Reporting Accountant to join an impressive team of individuals at a growth business that is scheduled to IPO this year. The successful Applicant will have IFRS experience and Ideally a FTSE Audit background ACA.

Rapidly growing and aiming to become the market leader, they are based in modern, purpose built offices in Manchester that boast a onsite gym, personal trainer, breakout zones as well as a roof top bar and terrace. Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, you will act as a technical partner working closely with the external reporting team in providing key information across reporting periods and to assist in our regulatory reporting. You will be responsible for assisting in the development of the Group's reporting, processes and policies to ensure it is PLC compliant for the Annual Report and Interim Report. This is a great opportunity for someone who is technically strong, has excellent communication skills and is looking for a fast paced environment in which to enhance reporting and be challenged along the way.

Core duties and responsibilities;
* Assist in the production of the Annual Report and Interim Report for the Group under IFRS
* Preparation of technical papers on impacts of new or relevant accounting standards
* Preparation of period end papers on key areas of judgement for the Audit Committee and External Auditors
* Assist in the review and development of policies and procedures in a FTSE environment
* Assist in ensuring compliance with listed company regulatory requirements
* To maintain a broad market knowledge and commercial awareness and apply to our external reporting
* Adhoc tasks and project work to support the Head of Financial Reporting
* Assist in the annual preparation of the company's ICAAP
* Monitor any changes to the prudential regulatory regime and new reporting requirements, preparing papers as required

The successful applicant will be ACA/ACCA Qualified with experience of consolidations, financial and statutory reporting within a PLC environment. Excellent working knowledge of IFRS and FRS101/FRS102. You will enjoy change and be comfortable working within a fast paced environment. Experience Auditing or operating within a similar role for a FTSE business is a huge advantage.
