Finance Manager / Financial Controller

Our client, a respected SME manufacturer are seeking to appoint a qualified Finance Manager. The company is in the midst of change, and are offering excellent career progression within the company.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the company's finance and accounts, participate in the smooth running of IT systems and play a key role in the ongoing development of the company's business management.

Duties:

• Ensure timely and accurate recording of all accounting transactions
• Management and supervision of the finance team
• Control of company cash flow, including regular cashflow forecasts
• Regular review of contract work-in-progress reports
• Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
• Participation in the smooth running of IT systems across the company

Candidate:

• This position would suit a recently qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA or possibly someone looking to make their first move from Practice into Industry
• Able to communicate to both financial and non-financial members
• Able to work with and motivate all levels of staff
• Competent with MS office programmes

This role provides an opportunity to contribute to the overall development of the company's financial and business management, with potential to progress to Finance Director level in the future.
