Senior Accounting Analyst - External Projects (9 month FTC)

Senior Accounting Analyst - External Projects: Birmingham: £50,000 - £60,000: 9 month FTC.

I'm currently working alongside an iconic brand who are the worlds leading manufacturer in their field. They have an exciting opportunity within their finance/ project team to help lead and manage a global project.

This role will report into the Director of Accounting and work alongside them in the implementation of an accounting project, which they are required to implement as a result of a change in reporting standards.

Main responsibilities will include:

• Support the European scope of the project.
• Analyse the financial impact (US GAAP/ Statutory).
• Lead alignment with other streams (manufacturing, procurement etc).
• Support the evaluation of the project design.

Business Partnering with those both inside and outside of Finance is also a key skill for this role, for example Procurement Managers, Finance Managers and Supply Chain teams. Essentially any departments who will be effected by the change in legislation.

In order to be successful in this role you will be a Qualified Accounting (ACCA/ CIMA/ ACA), have prior exposure to operating under US GAAP, be very experienced in SAP, have a very good understanding of reporting systems and have worked within a project orientated role in the past.

Albeit initially a 9 month contract, this is a brilliant opportunity to get your foot in the door at a globally renowned organisation, there will be other opportunities/ projects once this particular opportunity concludes.
