Operational Head of Finance / Shared Services – East Midlands – Up to £75,000 plus car & benefits
An established and International award-winning company is currently looking to recruit a new Operational Head of Financial Shared Services.
An innovative and dynamic market leader in their sector, the company are looking for a Head of Finance to be responsible for leading, motivating and developing a team of 30 within accounts payable, accounts receivable and treasury across a UK and Northern Europe remit.
Responsibilities for the Head of Finance:
- Managing and maintaining the day to day finance operations of a thriving and growth geared business.
- Adding financial and commercial contract support to local business teams and key stakeholders.
- Continuous improvement of tighter and more robust financial controls.
- Working closely with other heads of department to increase revenue through various integration and efficiency.
- To define, map and improve operational and commercial KPI's through targeted objectives and customer satisfaction analysis
- Working closely non-finance teams including HR, IT and Procurement with a view to building upon and enhancing our clients already high scoring employee engagement culture.
The successful candidate:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
- An established background in shared service accounting and driving performance improvements.
- A hands-on self-starter with excellent team management, prioritisation & communication skills.
- It is also expected that the successful candidate will possess strong systems and MI skills to an advanced / modelling level.
