Finance Manager

Finance Manager - Interim ongoing - Immediate Start - Based in Nelson - up to £200 per day

Your new role
You will be required to provide a quality Finance Manager support to the site based at Nelson. You will be required to provide a full end to end accounts service and will report into the Group FD based down south at Head Office. You will be required to complete Monthly Management accounts in line with company policy and will be required to complete all statutory accounting including VAT return and Intrastat, EC Sales and HMRC payments. In addition you will be working stand alone so will responsible for transactional elements such as Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and minimal Credit Control will fall under your remit. You will work with non-financial stakeholders on site in supporting them with budgets and will support the forecasting into wider group. The business is currently going through a period of change management so you will have to be able to manage change effectively whilst supporting the senior management team.


What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified or part qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) and will have the ability to work autonomously and partner with non financial stakeholders. You will be a self starter and must have previous experience of working with the manufacturing industry. You will have proven experience of stock control and must be able to manage change effectively. You will be immediately available and able to commit to the role on an ongoing basis.
