We’re looking for a Tax Manager to provide effective control of the taxation portfolio within the Rural Division in Bidwells’ Accounting Services and to be responsible for all taxation matters relating to clients. 

Bidwells Accounting Services (BAS) specialises in advising and acting for small to medium sized businesses and private clients, for whom it provides a made to measure service mix from a range of book-keeping, accounting, payroll, taxation and rent collection services.

It's important to us that you have substantial experience of dealing with HMRC, covering all aspects of clients’ tax affairs including:

• the setting up of tax records
• submission of client tax returns on time
• liaison regarding enquiries by HMRC into returns
• managing payments of tax to HMRC

It’s equally important to us that you can demonstrate a confident approach when dealing with clients, covering all aspects of their affairs including:

• completion of HMRC authority forms
• completion of client set up including Terms of Engagement and fee arrangements
• collation of all information required to complete tax returns accurately and on time
• liaison with clients’ other advisers (including Bidwells managing agents) to ensure all areas of taxation are considered

We'd also like someone who has is a Qualified Tax Accountant with 3 years post qualified experience and is CIOT qualified, so you know just what you’re getting in to.
