The Team…

The Planning and Analysis team supports the Executive team with performance analysis to enable strategic decision making, across markets, categories and channels. Within the wider team, the FP&A team delivers the analysis of the financial performance across the group, liaising directly with global markets to provide support to the Dyson Executive team.

The Senior Finance Manager role…

As Senior Finance Manager FP&A, you are responsible for delivery of accurate, timely and insightful reporting of Dyson's month end financials and monthly planning. You will be instrumental in putting together the global picture and working with market FDs and their teams to understand the drivers of the numbers. The role works closely with the other SFMs in the team, across BI, Sales and Marketing, Channel and Overheads, to develop new analytical tools and processes and implement best practice reports and processes.

Core responsibilities of the Senior Finance Manager will include:

• Leading month end calls with Market FDs and their teams to understand drivers of financial performance
• Supporting FD of P&A with production of packs for Executive reviews
• Management of FP&A Manager and Commercial Analyst to deliver month end reporting and analysis, monthly sales forecasts and forecast/ budget analysis
• Implement processes and governance to develop end to end FP&A function
• Support senior leadership with ad hoc analysis and reporting; influence cross functionally to ensure that analysis delivers action
• Lead global performance analysis agenda as a consistent point of contact for other finance teams (market, commercial, Group Reporting) in relation to planning and reporting issues
• Develop strong relationship with Category Finance teams to develop planning process and monthly performance analysis, drawing out insight for senior leadership

Requirements of the Senior Finance Manager role:

• Qualified accountant, c7 years PQE outside practice, with previous managerial experience
• Experienced at interpreting and communicating data for senior stakeholders
• Commercial experience preferred
• Strong working knowledge of Excel, experience with Onestream and Tableau would be beneficial
