We are a well-established accountancy firm based in the West End of London. An owner managed practice with a varied business and personal client portfolio. We have built a strong reputation for providing high quality general accountancy, specialist tax and business development advice and support.

The Role:

Due to an increase in workload from both new and existing clients we are looking for Senior Accountant to join our team.

As a Senior Accountant you will join the accounts, tax and audit department and take responsibility for managing both small and more complex accounting assignments of the firm. Your clients will range in size and turnover and your work will involve complete and incomplete records for numerous small and medium size businesses.

You will take full responsibility for a number of your own assignments. This will include all client liaison, preparing the year-end financial statements and the final draft personal and corporation tax computation. You would meet the client alongside the partner and then complete accounts with the relevant disclosures.

The Person:

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) with at least five years’ experience working within public practice. A strong candidate who is QBE will be considered. You must have dealt with a broad range of clients and be able to unravel manual records prepared by the company and prepare accurate financial statements.

The firm uses IRIS for accounts production and tax so any prior experience of this software would be preferable.
