Regional Accountancy Firm require a qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA) to join their team of Client Managers and look after a portfolio of SME clients on a full or part time basis (for around three days a week).
Accountant & Client Manager - About The Role
Reporting directly to the Partners of this Independent Accountancy Firm, based in open plan offices with parking, you will be responsible for overseeing junior team members and looking after your own portfolio of clients, which will include Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies and Not for Profit entities.
As a Client Manager you will act as primary point of contact for your clients and work with a Partner on their portfolio.
You will undertake more complex accountancy work, review the work junior staff including statutory accounts preparation and management accounts.
You will be familiar with accountancy software such as Sage, Xero and IRIS and be competent in training junior team members and clients staff as required.
To be successful in the role of Client Manager you will be able to demonstrate recent experience gained in an Independent or Mid-Tier Firm.
It is anticipated you will be a qualified Accountant – ACA or ACCA, however individuals with significant relevant experience who are nearly qualified or qualified by experience will also be consider.
The ability to manage your own work load and oversee junior members is as important as building and maintaining relationships you’re the clients you provide accountancy services to.
