Global software solutions organisation is seeking an experienced Finance Director for their offices in Central London.

The business is growing therefore there is a need in London to partner relationships in the UK.  Ideally the company is seeking an experienced candidate from the software industry or a PLC company. 

Role:

• Requires a senior, experienced accountant or commercial advisor
• Ability to display appropriate gravitas and to influence senior business leaders with sound commercial advice
• Work seamlessly with confidence with the wider finance team
• Work under virtual team construct across multiple countries
• Able to handle broad responsibilities that may involve a variety of strategic, operational, people, commercial, or financial challenges   
• Pivotal in supporting the planning, budgeting and forecasting activities of the business divisions
• Providing interpretation and insight into drivers of performance and results
• Contributing to evaluation and recommendations of business strategies, opportunities and proposals
• Provide a strong interface with the Group
• Close relationship with the Group Financial Control and FP&A team to ensure that the business segments are properly understood and appropriate accounting treatments applied
• Compliance with tax and intercompany requirements will be essential

 Requirements:

• 5-10 years experience in senior finance positions
• Experience of working in a Technology or Professional Services business
• Thorough knowledge of IFRS
• Experience of preparing financial statements in a complex Group
• Experience in an international group with exposure to Europe and North America
• Experience of working in a listed company environment 
• Self starter with a strong work ethic 
• Ability to understand complex business issues 
• Competencies in building relationships, strategy, investment decision making 
• Excellent communication skills - verbal, written and presentation
• Presenting to senior management / Board 
• Commercial acumen 
• A passion for excellence 
• High levels of energy
• Sound judgement
• Determination to achieve with a sense of urgency
