Accounts Assistant based in Peterhead
Your new company
Hays Accountancy & Finance is recruiting for a family run business within the food processing industry, based in the North of Aberdeen, looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their small team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business that has a worldwide customer base and is a leader in its' field.
Your new role
This job opportunity will see you responsible for processing sales invoices, credit notes, processing cash receipts and all aspects of credit control. You may also have some involvement with payroll and purchase ledger although credit control and sales ledger will be the main focus of this position. This will be a varied and busy role which operates within a small team in an open office environment, with flexible working hours based around 8-5pm.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful within this role you will have strong experience in credit control including processing credit notes, processing cash receipts and credit control by phone/email/letter. You will have strong initiative and have a proven ability to work in a team. You will be a pro-active individual with exposure to working in a varied and busy role.
