Client Accountant - Commercial Real Estate. Our Client is one of the UK's largest Real Estate providers who specialise specifically within the commercial, residential and industrial sector. As the company continues to grow, they have instructed us to recruit a Client Accountant to join their team.
The Role: The successful candidate for the Client Accountant role must assume the following responsibilities:
- Ensuring accurate reconciliation of client reports (i. VAT, client statement etc.).
- Maintaining professional working relationships with clients and ensure that good client service is delivered.
- Updating the annual service charge budgets in accordance with internal KPIs.
- Managing and maintaining the service charge funds of each property as well as property and tenant (lease) database under remit.
- Managing housekeeping of Lease data and financial data on databases.
- Ensuring that cash-flow/funding for each property service charge is adequate.
- Appropriately handling any property transfers as per internal guidelines.
- Understanding and clearing outstanding items as identified on the annual balance sheet.
The Person MUST have at least 2 years' of experience of working as a client/property/service charge accountant within commercial real estate. The ideal person should be part qualified or equivalent with relevant client and service charge accounting experience. The candidate should show excellent organisation and time management skills. The incumbent must also have good verbal communication and written skills.
