Our client, a large international PLC based in Bedford, is seeking an Interim Group Accountant for a period of 6 months initially during a period of significant change.
Due to a recent internal changes, there is an urgent need for an additional resource within Group finance to support the Head of Financial Accounting and manage a complex set of consolidated Group accounts for the UK listed organisation.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA). A technical accountant with experience of managing balance sheets, cash flows, and complex multi-currency consolidations, and must be able to work with minimal direction within a fast paced high pressure environment.
Good communication skills are essential as well as strong stakeholder management skills.
Daily Rate: £400-500 per day
