Assistant Accountant, Cambridge, £28000 - £32000

Your new company
As an Assistant Accountant you will be working for a small and new organisation based in the centre of Cambridge.

Your new role
As an Assistant Accountant you will be preparing all the Accounts up to trial balance, bank reconciliations, timely month end process, accruals and pre-payments, ensure all sub-ledgers agree with general ledger, reconciliations of monthly accounts, assisting Financial Controller with budgets and forecasts, maintain all balance sheet accounts, prepare quarterly VAT returns and any other duties as required. You will be managing two junior members of staff.

What you'll need to succeed
As an Assistant Accountant you must be vibrant, confident and passionate about discussing the results of the organisation to non-finance managers. You must be a quick learner and confident about managing various important responsibilities. Hotel experience is extremely desirable or retail/hospital experience.
