Group Finance and Operations Director International

fdu's Search Practice is thrilled to be supporting a global consumer goods brand in its quest to recruit a high-calibre Group Finance and Operations Director, acting as a true business partner to the Global General Manager, and executing on supreme efficiencies and expansive growth.

Our Client is looking for a strategic and operational leader, who is able to manage all aspects of Finance and Accounting. What is desired is a hands-on commander to manage the international staff, overseeing the end-to-end lifecycle regarding packaging, processing timelines, quality, and shipping, as well as helping the leaders of each division within the International Group achieve their forecasted growth goals.

Is this astonishing and dynamic role the right one for you? These are required...

• A background in fast-moving, fast-growth business - e.g. Media (distribution), Consumer Goods (FMCG), Retail, Wholesale, Supply Chain;
• Robust operational process and procedures experience across functions; accurate management accounting, cash flow, and control;
• Experience of working internationally and in mid/large-cap companies;
• Accreditation - Big 4 trained / ACA, or ACCA, or CIMA, or equivalent;
• A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, and Business.
• Experienced background with UK GAAP and/or IFRS.

The Group Finance and Operations Director will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the International accounting teams and will strive to continually evolve its processes; effectiveness and quality, in order to effectively business partner all other parts of the organisation with sound and pragmatic operational and commercial input.

The successful Candidate will need to manage tight deadlines and control a number of finance initiatives including financial planning and analysis, management report preparation, cash flow forecasting and play a key role in budgeting and forward planning.
