Commercial Finance Manager required for a leading retail business based in Swindon. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing business in a highly commercial role. Reporting to the Head of Commercial finance, you will be responsible for transforming financial information into easily understandable data which will be delivered to the senior stakeholders in the business.
What you'll be doing:
- Responsible for transforming financial information into easily understandable data which will be delivered to the senior stakeholders in the business.
- Understanding KPIs acting upon them to improve performance of the business
- Commentary on target v. actual and previous performance
- Providing analysis of results to improve understanding of risks & opportunities, and suggesting appropriate courses of action
- Monitor key business performance metrics with a view to increasing profitability
- Challenge the P&L performance of multiple business units
- Provide rolling forecasts based on performance, providing financial reviews and commercial decision support.
Who we're looking for
- Newly qualified accountant with industry experience (preferably ACA from Big 4)
- Degree educated (minimum 2:1)
- Confident Excel user and experience of high volume data reporting
- Excellent analytical skills and an ability to challenge & influence stakeholders
